Shutterstock is a good nonexclusive agency. I sell a lot of images with them. They tend to by very selective when it comes to accepting images. They also have a few special licenses which helps photographers increase their income. You can also sell footage with them, but I have no experience in this field since I only sell images. The community is very nice and the other photographers are quite helpful on their forums.

The best site in terms of: income and forum people. It is very hard to get accepted there (seven from 10 submitted photos) but, once in, the sales will start to appear from the very first day (and you’ll start to hit F5 many times!). If you’ll have problems with the first batch, ask for help in the forum: for sure, your next submission will be better.

The minus points:
-well, some times, the early accepted photos are not displaced on the first page. For that, buyers need to search on the next pages;
- low price for subscription images;
- hard to get in;
- you need to wait a month to resubmit again ten images;

Plus points:
- increased traffic of photo buyers;
- the review is fast;
- other selling options : OD- on demand and EL- extended licence;
- you get sales. And, if you get sales, you will get an increased subscription price in time. Not much, but it counts.
