iStockphoto is a member-generated image and design community. They offer more than 3.2 million royalty-free stock images for as little as $1 each. They also sell illustrations, stock footage and audio clips.

Photographer application

You can sell images but also videos and audio clips with this agency but you must be an iStockphoto member before you can begin to contribute. The registration is free, and then you will be asked to submit three original samples of your work. If they like it, you can start selling stock images.

Partially easy to get in with the first submission. Your photos need to be at 100% view good in terms of quality. Other submitters will also agree that there is a noise/over filtering
paranoia from the reviewers. Also, the review time is quite long. Creating a support ticket may help your frustration to get low (you can ask for a second look to your images).
The sales are good there- what you’ll need is only to increase your portfolio. The lightboxes also help sales.

It wasn't easy for me at all to get my firs submission in. I actually have been rejected although my photos were accepted by all the others important microstock agencies, and they sell well. I gave up trying to submit to istockphoto.
