Only two years after startup, image agency YayMicro.com has reached 1 million images, making them one of the world’s largest image agencies. “I think we’re the first image agency in the world to get our own users to upload one million images in only two years” says a satisfied CEO, Linda Laegreid Johannessen.

Fotolia has lunched a new tool that let designers to get the image they are looking for without even leaving a Microsoft Word 2007 document or Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 presentation. The new Fotolia plug-in, named Ribbon, allows members to login into their free Fotolia account through Word 2007 or PowerPoint 2007 and instantly access the library of over 7,000,000 royalty-free images.

Dreamstime has announced on it's website that the agency plans to introduce posters and canvases sells. This is a new service and all royalty free images are eligible for this option. Editorial and Free Photos will be excluded. According to the agency, ordering will be fast and easy to use. Similar to image download, prints will be be purchased on-line, in a matter of seconds.
